Wink why this works

Privacy

Your nights are yours.

Wink works without knowing who you are. Here's exactly what it keeps, in plain words — no legal fog.

What Wink stores

Only what the method needs to run:

1
Your window
Wake time, baseline sleep, and the current prescribed window.
2
Your diary numbers
Per night: times in and out of bed, minutes to fall asleep, minutes awake, and a 1–5 quality tap. Numbers only — there's no free-text field to mine.
3
An anonymous identity
A random ID and your 6-character sync code. No name, no email, no password, no phone number.
4
A nudge subscription — only if you switch it on
The wind-down reminder stores a push token for this device. Turn it off and it's deactivated.

What Wink doesn't do

No ads. No analytics trackers. No selling or sharing data — there's nothing to sell that isn't just sleep arithmetic. No third-party scripts beyond the fonts. Two cookies total: one keeps your session, one remembers this device so your nights are here tomorrow.

Your sync code is the only key

Anyone with your code can restore your nights on their device — that's the whole account system. Treat it like a key, and don't post it anywhere public.

Leaving is easy

Sign out this device (on the You screen) unlinks this phone and keeps your save reachable by code. The button below is the stronger one: it permanently deletes your window, every logged night, and the nudge subscription from the server. No copy is kept.

Wink is an evidence-informed wellness tool, not a medical device. Questions about this page? hello@joyloom.com.
